We'd Love to Hear from You
We'd Love to Hear from You
If you were featured in Wynnefield West Digest and/or participated in the
Literacy Enrichment Achievement Program (LEAP-MD)
during the 1980s or 1990s, we would love to hear from you.
Meanwhile we are going through the Wynnefield West Digest
and compiling lists of alumni, staff, schools, organizations, individuals
and supporters who were a part of this history.
Partial listings from those archives are included below.

The LEAP was prepared
The LEAP was prepared
Preparation was a main ingredient in the LEAP. Researching, mentoring, coaching, forums, workshops, and lots of hands-on practice sessions were among the strategies used to motivate, develop and direct the youth correspondents. Youth correspondents identified what they wanted to do in life; it will be interesting to see how their journey matched their goals.
They helped execute the program

"The success of both the LEAP and Wynnefield West Digest was due to a shared commitment to youth and excellence. Program implementation was carried out by qualified staff with backgrounds in education, computer literacy, publishing, administration and child advocacy."
